These liquid fertilizer storage tanks are offered in several resin combinations based on the corrosiveness of the fertilizer being stored. KBK’s resins have been specifically formulated to increase the life of the tanks. KBK offers these tanks with a general purpose (GP), Isophthalic, and Vinyl Ester.

Features of KBK Agricultural Storage Tanks

KBK’s sight tube with a gallon strip allows easy determination of the fluid level in the tank. The manway allows for easy access to the inside of the tank with simple removal of bolts. KBK offers full threaded couplings and flat faced flanges for piping the tanks. Couplings are available in sizes 1”, 2”, 3”, 4”, 6” and 8”. Flanges are available in sizes 1”, 2”, 3”, 4”, 6”, 8”, 10”, and 12”. All KBK flanges will have the ANSI 150# bolt pattern.
While our standard liquid fertilizer tank comes with a flat bottom, KBK offers these tanks with a sloped bottom, dished bottom and 45-degree cone bottom. The sloped bottom is sloped ½” per foot. The cone bottom tank is offered with a skirt or steel stand.

If there are wind or seismic risks at your location, you may consider adding guy wire brackets. The primary purpose of guy wires is to prevent the tank from leaning or falling over, especially in situations where the structure is subject to strong lateral forces, such as wind.
